Winter is upon us

I love the summer.

I am really good at living life in the warm weather.
The hotter the better. What’s not to love about 110 degree weather?
All that to say……. I am going to enjoy this winter. Instead of counting down the days till shorts and bathing suits and beaches and…… oh right, I am learning to love the winter too.
So here are reasons that I am going to embrace the winter this year and enjoy it as best I can.

Only in the winter I can ……..

• Drink hot tea


• Make gingerbread houses with some of my favorite friends


• Listen to Christmas music


• Leave for work when its dark and leave from work when its dark


• Watch football! Go eagles!!!


• Swim indoors


• Be the crankiest person on a hike in upstate with my students in sub-zero weather


• Wear pretty boots and sweaters


• Practice my knitting skills
